CONNECTION - Writing Inspiring Art

On Sunday afternoon 8th October U3A officially launched the new book Connection: Words Inspiring Art. This is a collaboration between the University of the Third Age, Hervey Bay Writers Group and Hervey Bay Art Society. The writers each wrote a short story or poem which was then taken by an artist to create a piece of artwork to go with the story or poem. The result is a wonderful expression of creativity and talent.

The books are available for purchase for $10 from the art gallery at Sandy Street, Urangan. The artwork and the written inspiration is currently being exhibited at the gallery.
